1. Phil Ivey
Phillip D. "Phil" Ivey has won seven World Series of Poker bracelets and also one World Poker Tour title to his name and has appeared at eight World Poker Tournament final tables. The "Tiger Woods of Poker", Phil Ivey is currently listed as the first in the world among all-time money winners in tournament poker – earning more than $12 million playing live tournaments, and is regarded as pretty much the best all-around poker player in the world at present.
2. Daniel Negreanu 
Daniel Negreanu started his earlier life in the snooker halls and had aspirations of being a professional snooker player. In that environment he was never far away from poker and eventually decided to play himself. He moved to Las Vegas, the capital of poker and hasn’t looked back since. Daniel became the youngest ever player to win a World Series bracelet at the age of just 23 in 1998 and has continued in his winning ways from there on.
3. Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth Dropped out of university to pursue his poker career in 1988. His World Series of poker winning run over the past 19 years started back in 1988.He also won the main poker event the following year which made him the youngest player to do so at the age of 24. He is one of only 3 players to win 3 gold bracelets in a single year and also won 3 consecutive World series of poker (WSOP) wins in 3 consecutive days in 1993. All of these achievements make Phil one of the most successful poker players of the last 20 years.
4. Doyle Brunson 
Brunson was born in Lungwort Texas in 1933. His poker career extends over 50 years where he has won 10 bracelets. He was also the first player to earn $1 million and won 4 consecutive bracelets at the WSOP. Brunson's nickname was the "Texas dolly" which actually came from a mistake when he was introduced to a game as "Texas dolly" instead of "Texas Doyle".
5. Johnny Chan 
Johnny Chan is a Chinese born American. He moved to the US in 1968. He dropped out of college at the age of 21 to move to Las Vegas and become a professional poker player. His achievements include 10 bracelets and a total winnings of $6.216.844 as well as 13 first place finishes. Chan is currently tied with Doyle Brunson for the WSOP bracelet record.
